Now you can store your phone safely in a pocket, pouch or arm band and not have to think about it again for the rest of the run. The Run x50+ will connect to your phone and your favorite fitness apps, sending that information to a crisp, high-resolution display on your wrist. See your elapsed time, pace, distance, and even heart rate (if you’re wearing a Bluetooth chest strap), without ever fumbling with your phone or squinting at your upper arm.
And if you want to skip to the next track or crank up the volume as you tackle a steep hill, no problem. Just press the buttons on the Run x50+ to control the music on your phone — whether it’s in your play list, on your fitness app, or streaming from services like Pandora or Spotify.

A Truly Smart Watch
Whether you’re running or not, you’ll appreciate the convenience of notifications on your wrist. When connected to your smartphone, the Timex IRONMAN Run x50+ will vibrate and display a message when you have an incoming call, notification or text. You can also opt to see incoming emails and alerts from your phone, like Facebook updates or Twitter posts. So you won’t miss that urgent message when your phone is buried at the bottom of your bag.
And what about those times when you want to work out in peace? You can use the free Timex smartphone app to customize do-not-disturb times that automatically stops your Run x50+ from being sent Caller ID, notifications and more.
Want another fun trick? If you’ve lost your phone, you can find it with your watch. And vice versa—use your phone to find a stubbornly hidden watch.

Not afraid to be alone
The Timex IRONMAN Run x50+ doesn’t need a smartphone to be smart. On those occasions when you leave your phone behind, it gives you the same functions as your favorite trusty Timex IRONMAN (R) sports watch. It will time your workouts, track your interval sessions (whether a run/walk or a weight circuit), and give you alarms. It’s durable with a 50-meter water resistant case, so don’t be afraid to jump in and swim with this on. And the crisp, high-resolution display, INDIGLO night-light and menu-based system makes this watch easy-to-see, and easy-to-use. The watch will last for up to 2-3 days between charges when paired with a smartphone, and up to 3 weeks when not. Simply recharge with the USB cable that comes with the watch.
