Setting
Press [SET] button, setting item will falsh, you can press[ALTITUDE/+] or [COMPASS/-] button to adjust setting. setting items are as following: 24Hr/12Hr → hour → minute → year → month → date → temperature unite (℃/℉) → barometric unit (HPA/inHg/mmHg) → altitude unit (M/ FEET) → exit In setting process, it will exit setting automatically if you press [HISTORY] button or don’t operate it for ten seconds.
Altimeter
When you first use the altimeter, you should set the current altitude that is the known altitude at the current location. You can obtain the correct altitude from a topographical map or internet weather station
Relative Altitude
You can use this device to monitor the ascending or descending altitude from one certain location or the relative altitude for any mountain or object etc. Barometer
When you first use the barometer, please calibrate the sea level pressure. It will not be altered due to the change in the altitude but with regard to the barometric change only. You can obtain the current sea level pressure from newspaper, local news and radio weather reports or through the internet weather station.
Weather Forecast
Apart from detecting the altitude, barometer also helps to forecast the weather for the forthcoming 12 to 24 hours basing on barometric pressure changes. The effective range is 30-50km.
